how does a little boxes session work?
In my studio I have a sturdy white box. You will have the chance to pose inside the box creating shapes or stories as you go. From your images I will then create a composite picture featuring the best shots. I will share with you my 'draft' and you will have the opportunity to swap in any of your preferred shots. The box can be themed to anything of your choice and we can discuss this before the session.
WHAT SHOUD WE WEAR TO OUR little boxes PHOTO SHOOT?
This depends on whether you have a specific theme and how you would like your final image to look. You could have co-ordinating colours, bright primary colours, pastels, neutrals. Some ideas for themes could be football, holidays, hobbies, favourite characters. For my own children, I created a box picture for them including all parts of their lives. swimming, school, music, football. You can bring as many props and changes of clothes as you like.
HOW MANY CHILDREN CAN FIT IN THE BOX?
The final picture can include as many children as you would like so you are welcome to include friends, cousins, etc. I would suggest that a maximum of two children are in the box at any one time though to avoid the image looking too cramped.
can adults take part in the little boxes session?
Yes of course. The box measures 1m x 1m so most adults can fit in.
