A simple, stress-free photography experience for your nursery

Organising photography doesn't need to mean extra work for your team. I'll work with you to make the process as straightforward as possible, from arranging your photography day to delivering the finished photographs to parents.

Here's what you can expect...

01 — BEFORE THE PHOTOGRAPHY DAY

Let's get everything organised

Once we've agreed that you'd like me to photograph your nursery, we'll arrange a date that works for you and your setting.

I will visit the setting so that we can agree a location for the photography to take place.

We'll discuss the number and ages of the children, the type of photographs you'd like and how best to fit the photography around your usual nursery routine.

I'll provide you with everything you need to let parents know about the photography, including information about how the photographs will be viewed and purchased.

We'll also agree the arrangements for parental permissions and make sure everything is in place before photography takes place.

Your job: Let your parents know about the photo day and provide any information I give you.

My job: Take care of the photography and make the process as easy as possible for you.

02 — PARENT INFORMATION & PERMISSIONS

Keeping everything clear and secure

Before the photography day, parents will be given information about the photographs and how they will be viewed and purchased.

The nursery and I will agree in advance how permissions and opt-outs will be managed, in line with the setting's own policies and procedures.

Each child will have their own secure online gallery through Pics4Schools, accessed using an individual QR code. This means parents can easily access their child's photographs without photographs of other children being displayed in their gallery.

I'll only photograph children who are included in the agreed arrangements for the photography day.

I take the privacy and security of children's photographs seriously and will handle images and personal information in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

03 — PHOTO DAY

Relaxed photography, happy children

On the day, I'll arrive at your setting with everything I need.

I'll work around your normal routine as much as possible, taking into account naps, meals, activities and the fact that little people don't always stick to a schedule!

The photography itself is relaxed and child-led. Some children will be ready to smile straight away, while others may need a little time to feel comfortable.

There's no pressure to make every child behave or pose in exactly the same way. I'll work with each child to capture natural expressions and their individual personality.

Depending on what we've agreed beforehand, I can photograph: Individual portraits, Siblings, Friends, Small Groups and Graduation/Leavers' portraits.

I will provide you with a QR code to send home with each child that will allow access to their private gallery.

04 — YOUR ONLINE GALLERY

Easy for you. Easy for parents.

Once the photographs have been carefully selected and edited, I'll prepare secure online galleries.

Each child will have their own gallery, allowing parents to view their photographs privately and easily from home.

Parents will receive the information they need to access their gallery and will be able to see the photographs available to purchase.

You won't need to print photographs, sort through orders or distribute envelopes to parents.

05 — PARENTS ORDER DIRECT

No chasing orders. No collecting money.

Parents can choose their favourite photographs and place their order directly through the online gallery.

Parents will be able to purchase digital photographs, prints or other products.

I'll deal directly with parents regarding their orders and any questions they may have, so your team doesn't have to spend time managing individual orders or payments.

You look after the children. I'll look after the photography and the parents.

06 — DELIVERY & THE FINISHED PHOTOGRAPHS

Photographs to treasure

Once orders have been placed, I'll take care of processing and delivering the photographs.

Digital images will be provided electronically, while printed products will be prepared and delivered according to the options available (it is possible for delivery to be arranged to your nursery if ordered by a specific date to save your parents p&p costs)

The aim is simple: parents get beautiful photographs of their children — without the usual photography-day headache.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

Very little!

I'll work with you beforehand to agree exactly how the day will run, but generally your role is simply to:

✓ Choose a date

✓ Provide the information needed about the children and your setting

✓ Let parents know about the photography

✓ Make sure your usual consent/permission procedures are followed

✓ Help the day run alongside your normal nursery routine

And I'll take care of the rest.
